We took three graduating teenage boys out for a blue water fishing adventure, and Captain Jim Berg delivered an unforgettable experience. All the boys caught fish, including a shark. The two first mates were fantastic, ensuring bait was always on the hooks and the hooks stayed in the water. They also provided excellent advice to the boys on landing their catches, which is quite different from lake fishing. The four adults thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride as well. It was our first time venturing into blue water, and it turned out to be a wonderful trip for everyone. We’d love to come back. A big thanks to Captain Jim Berg and the crew!

This trip was fantastic. Captain Jim took us to two different spots, and the action was non-stop. My two sons, aged 8 and 13, had the time of their lives. Most of the time, our baits didn’t even make it to the bottom before a keeper red snapper would grab them and give us a great fight. Honestly, the only break we got from fishing was during travel. Usually, my sons and I fish every day on vacation, but this year was different. After our trip with Captain Jim, we’re taking a day off to let our arms recover from all the big red snapper we caught. If you want to catch fish, this charter is the way to go.
